Irish Soda Bread Scone
We made these for St. Patrick’s Day last year and I’ve been thinking of them ever since. To me, this is the ultimate scone. The combination of butter and buttermilk on the inside makes these anything but dry. The raisins are there for a touch of sweetness while the pearl sugar on top adds a bit of crunch. Warm them up and serve with butter and jam just like they would in an Irish cafe!
These also freeze well, so consider ordering extras as we only make them once a year!
